well i was in love, then i ended it to figure out if it was what i wanted. Now that i know its what i want and she wants time off im crushed. but i would never trade all the good times we had for the few bad times we are having now. I will wait for her for a while before i move on because there is still a chance. Love is gonna be rough. Dont get too involved unless your ready to be crushed. If your not then dont bother because it could happen to anyone.

some went well, some did not.Life is full of all different scenarios. You cant go through life fearing the "what if's"
If you love this person all you can do is hope to be loved back and be treated well.
The best way to be more certain of good treatment is to have respect for yourself and to always let this person know where you stand on things. Like, If you don't like to ever be given the silent treatment, make it clear that no matter what you will not stand for it and wouldn't do it to them. That sort of thing.
In my experience, the more you show your confidence in who you are and what you want along with treating them good the better off you are.
good luck!

I did when I was 18. He seemed genuinely concerned for me at the beginning then he started controlling me, and treating me like a dog, and physically and emotionally abusing me. That lasted 7 1/2 years and ended a year ago. The last year has been the best year of my life and I'm so grateful for the courage to leave. I will never sit and cry in my closet for so many consecutive days and I will never allow someone to step on my dreams and run my life. & I will cherish life and enjoy every minute of it.

my first love is still on my mind every single day. I have never felt even close to that with anybody else even though i now have a child with someone. first love is amazing, powerful, painful and you feel it will last forever. Its the best feeling in the world. I finished things to find what i wanted and who i was. The world wasnt so great after that!! I say go for it, and enjoy every moment!!

i only knew i was in love with him after he and i moved to different towns. the entire two years he asked me out, i thought he was messing around, because he IS a player. thats the thing with love, you cant choose who you fall for, and i never expected him to be 'the one'.

but everyone has hope that one day, it will work out dont they?
