I was also given a score. I have never done well at math. But I don't think a visual mathematician would necessarily do well in traditional math anyways. Here is what the test revealed:

- I am gifted at spotting patterns in both pictures and numbers.

- I am able to see the big picture.

- People trust my instincts and turn to me for my direction. Especially in the workplace.

So what type of thing would I do well at in life? I'm 31 and I need to find out pretty quickly!

Are you sure that was an "IQ" test and not some kind of personality test? Sounds like maybe a management job in some type of business, marketing firm/department might fit well with those descriptions. But what are your interests and strengths? Maybe you could figure out your ideal career based on those things as well.

The funny thing is that I have the same strengths and the same situation (I'm 31 too!). I recommend you consider these fields if you haven't already and think about graduate school:

Investing and stock analysis
Financial and economic modeling
Statistical analysis
Data modeling
Marketing research and analysis
Any type of research-oriented field

I wouldn't trust in anything an IQ test "reveals". You know yourself better than any test does. Just do what you want to do.
