Tell her that it would better if you were just friends. Be honest and open. I would take her to the beach (or better yet have her meet you there so she has her car nearby) and make sure no one is around so she won't be humiliated. If you can work up a tear or two that will help a lot if its sincere. Make sure to tell her that it is not your intent to hurt her or lead her on. And give her permission to hate you!
She may feel the same way! If you are kind and compassionate and keep in mind how you would feel if the shoe was on the other foot, then you should both come out of it okay.

I'm not a guy but if I were a guy, I would be honest with her. Explain to her why things aren't working out without sugar coating your reason too much. Don't lead her on by saying "we can still be friends" (because chances are, you won't) or "I just don't want a relationship right now" because you will just hurt her feelings and make her assume false conclusions. There isn't a way to break up with a girl without hurting her feelings. Even if you show your a$$, and make her dump you, her feelings will still be hurt.

Just accept that you are going to hurt her feelings. Being honest will at least make it easier to take in the long run. Don't make it worse by adding insult to injury and lying to her.

I broke up with a guy by making my friend fall for him. After she said he was cute and all I allowed them to flirt and stepped out of the picture! Nice and easy.

I made up arguements about how i might have feelings for someone i liked just before her and then i told her that we could still see eachother but just not go out anymore. so she was cool with it and it turns out i do like this other girl! its all good.

IT'S NOT A QUICK PROCESS.AT LEAST GIVE YOURSELF AMONTH OR TWO SHOWING HER ALL THE NEGATIVE TRAITS THAT SHE DOESN'T WANT TO SEE IN A MAN.IT'S JUST THA REVERSE OF WHAT YOU DID WHEN YOU ARE STILL COURTING HER TO WIN HER HEART-SHOWING HER OR EVEN ADJUSTING YOURSELF TO ALL THE GOOD TRAITS THAT SHE EXPECT IN HER IDEAL MAN.WITHOUT YOU KNOWING IT SHE WILL INITIATE THE PROCESS OF DUMPING YOU INSTEAD OF PROLONGING YOUR RELATIONSHIP BUT THAT'S OK SINCE IT WILL FEED HER EGO THAT SHE DUMPS YOU INSTEAD OF THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

just dont break up....but if you have to...tell her why you are breaking up with her....tell her you'll always be friends with her.....OUCH...she will be hurt no matter what.....but if you dont want to be with her...you gotta let her know.
