What in the italian production is better for you?

Yes, personal favorites are:

RED: Chianti, ruffino brand is a good one in my opinion (and FROM italy as well).

White: Muscato, a very sweet but slightly sparkling desert wine.

Red sparkling: Lambrusco... a "red champagne," it has a nice sweet flavor that lends itself kindly to the pallet

Well,because I prefer the homemade wine, I would have to say that a good Chianti probably is the closest thing. I like it dry.

yep, lambrusco is one of my favorites!!! love german wines to. infact i'm a wine-head...lol
