Well I really couldn't care less who you lust after. If your not a christian, you have a far more important thing to be worried about other than lusting. Anything can be an idol. Lust can be a idol worshipped. Just be careful what you place importance in.

Lust is a sin against human dignity, both the object of your lust (notice we call them OBJECTS) and your own.

A person fights lust by remembering that it is disrespectful to treat people as objects.

Failure to fight lust leads to a multitude of other issues: STD transmission rates go up, unwanted pregnancy goes up, unwed motherhood and abortion rates go up, and a plethora of social ills follow. Look to your typical urban communities, where "lust" is raised to "virtue" status by rap music to see how it leads to poverty and hopelessness.

If hell is to be your intimate destination, then go for it. but before you arrive there you will experience all of the horrors here on earth that go with an out-of-control desire for everything pleasurable. Lust is sin and every sin has its consequence.

Yes it is:

Matthew 5:28

28 "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

2 Timothy 2:22

22 Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
