My son has just developed mild flu symptoms. He is taking an flu antiviral so he should be non contagious by Friday. The Doc won't give the antiviral to the other 2 kids. "They have to show symptoms" The problem is we are going to visit grandfather in Michigan on Sat. for a week. Grandfather is 82 and in good health. He did get the flu vacine this fall. Should we still go? One other thing is that Santa delivered all the kids gifts to Grandfathers house. So if we stay home the kids won't get any Santa gifts. Of course if anyone else gets sick after Friday we won't go at all, but if my son is the only one and he will be noncontagious by Friday should we still go? We could go on Sunday to give it an extra day. Any advice would be great.

If no one else is sick and he is non-contagious (which he will be) by then just load up and go. <:-)>

Merry Christmas.

If your son is non-contagious and the grandfather is in good health and has had a shot, there should be no trouble with your visiting.

Enjoy the holiday!
