I may only be on it for 2-3 months, is it worth it? Will my teeth get discolored in that time frame? Will I have tremendous stomach upset? Help, I am only in my mid 30's and dont want these side effects.

Although tetracylines can certainly cause discoloration of the teeth, that really only happens when the teeth are developing, which is in early childhood, so you should be fine, that particular side-effect is not going to happen to you if you're in your 30s.

You have your permanent teeth so it will not discolor your teeth. It should also not cause stomach problems. If it does talk to your doc and he can advise you. I believe you mentioned rosacea as why you will be taking it and normally with rosacea they put you on it permanently to keep the rosacea under control.
