Male too are among best Gynecologists.
Mainly the female Gyncs are famous because ladies find it better to tell there problems with a female, so they have better clients i.e. name and fame.
But, U can find hundreds of Male Gyncs who are known best in this field of Medical science.

This is actually a major misconception. I wish I could remember the numbers exactly... but only about roughly 35% of women prefer women OB/Gyn's, 25% prefer men, and the 40% remainder just don't care what the gender of their gynecologist is. Only about 15% of new OB/Gyns are men... so the prospects for their business are quite good. For us medical students, it's a gender gap in the male's favor and one of many strong pulls towards OB/Gyn.

I don't think it's dependent on the doctors' skills or experience. I suppose most patients generally are more comfortable with female doctors than male doctors in this field.

A good doctor should be rated as a good doctor not by if they are a man or a woman. I personally don't care which just want the best person for the job!

Not entirely true. Most gynecologists are women. Some of them are very good and reputed. It is also true that some gynecologists are male. Among them some are world reputed.

no, male doctors are good gynecologist because they are more gentle on their patients. Gynecology is not dominated by female

Mr varan, i see mostly male gyneas in my country. I think male gynea somehow do a beter job as they are well toleraated for emergencies during labour.
