If you havent gone to a urologist yet, here are some tips:
1. Determine ist how big the stone is, its exact location in your system (by ultrasound or xray). Appropriate treatment depends on this.
2. Stones larger than 1 cm dia. generally require some form of treatment (not flushing out) like shock wave or even surgery.
3. Only small stones (less than 1 cm, soft, and not impacted) may respond to "flushing".
4. How to flush out:
Drink plenty of water (at least 3 li/day); Modify your diet by minimizing foods high in oxalates like tea, Cola drinks, Red meat, Green leafy vegetables, etc. Or foods high in Uric acid like internal organs, anchovies, sardines, legumes, etc . And how do you know what kind of stone you have? Again see a urologist.
Some OTC pills are available in the market like Potassium Citrate, Sodium bicarb, Rowatinex, Releaf, etc..
Lime juice (because of its Citric acid/Citrate content) can help. Take 1 glass a day.

I am like you i've had kidney stones for 16 years now and the only thing you can do is drink plenty of fluid; although not too much alcohol as that will dehydrate you. Chin-up old bean, and Merry Christmas.

Drink plenty of water or juices, as this will constantly flush out your kidneys and maybe you will flush them if small away through urine . If they are too big unfortunately you will need some form of surgery to blast them away, or break them up.
