It 'sounds' to me like you're dog is a little nervous when it comes to new or loud noises. You can try making these noises into a good thing. Depending on how old your dog is, it could just be a matter of a frightened puppy who just needs a bit of time to get used to the noise or if it's an adult dog try using the squeekers for happy times. Signal him with the squeeker that he's going to be fed, walked, or given a treat. I'm sure he'll change his mind.

My dog was for a while, we got him from a women down the street as she was going drown him (!!!!!) and it turns out, she used to throw his toys at him and he used to associate them with being abused!
It could be the new noise/squeek. Play with the toy yourself, tease (by tease i mean in a playful way) the dog with it, show him(her) its something fun.
Personally i think it would be a blessing! no squeeky toys! yey!
merry christmas!

How old is your pup?
Some younger puppys aren't used to the loud squeek of a toy, they have to be around them for a while to get used to them. If its an older dog, it could be the same thing--it just wasnt around them long enough.
Dont squeek the toy at your pup when its play time. Let them play with it and grab it. They will soon learn that its okay for the toy to squeek when they bite on it. Then they will associate that squeeking with play.

Some dogs are scared of the squeak in toys,it's mainly terriers who get a real buzz out of them.Try removing the sqeaker out of the toy before you give your dog it or just buy non sqeaky toys that will help solve the problem

The dog may have sensitive hearing, have had traumatizing event involving loud noises like it, or be a little intimidated by the toy.
