I have a sweet s-10 i don't get to drive so it just sits in my yard. My nieghbor has two mangy farm mutts that come into my yard in the middle of the night bark at my cats and pi$$ on every tire I have. My truck has nice aluminum rims and it's leaving stains on them. I find this unanaceptable, is it okay to deliver some 12 ga. justice here? I live in the country so there is no animal control. Speaking w/ the neighbor is not really an option, has has a 2 acre yard that comes within 10 feet of my house. I'm just waiting for the two mongrels to make those final steps.

I guess you could go ahead and report me, it was the sherrif who sugested I use some bird shot on them. I could always sue my neighbor for the cost of the rims. Things are a little different here than in seattle or boston.

I guess most of u hate every thing. I never knew I had to defend my truck? The fact is it's sweet, it's not the first or only one. It was customized. The rims cost 4 grand. I havn't shot them yet 'cause I don't want to hit my truck. You people are so funny!

In circumstances like this, I would recommend a paintball gun. Dog goes home covered in whatever color you choose (perhaps the neighbor gets the hint) and the sting of the paintball should provide a deterrant from returning to the scene. It may take a few times to teach the dogs that you mean it so be persistent.
And if the neighbor complains, just tell him that he's lucky you didn't really shoot them and to keep his dogs off your property.
If this doesn't work, locate the nearest animal shelter and deliver the dogs to them. It isn't the dogs' fault they have an ignorant owner, so it really isn't fair to just kill them.
I love dogs, but dogs must not be a nuisance to neighbors. If you own a dog, you gotta be responsible!!

Techinly speaking it is within your right to shoot the dog, but I get where you are coming from who wants to see a dog get shot bc the owner is dumb. Have you told your neighbor your husbands intentions if it happens again? That may help. Sometimes animal control sucks in certain areas and the police will likely tell you to shoot the dog. ( that's how it goes where I live, and I live in the country). I would tell you just to fire a round into the air, that's how we used to get rid of the bears that came into the cherry orchard eating our trees, but as you live in the suburbs that may not be such a good idea, plus you don't want the dog turning on you. I would just keep pressing your neighbors saying that they need to control this issue or their dog will end up dead.

You dont really expect someone to say 'Yeah go ahead its ok to shoot those poor dogs' do you?
Thats a stupid question, you should never think about hurting or killing any animal!
Why dont you take better care of ya car and put it somewhere away from the dogs and the elements!

It doesn't matter if you live in the country. IF you shoot the dogs, you will serve jail time and have a criminal record. Plus, you can be sued. The dog walking onto your property isn't enough cause to warrant shooting it....It isn't worth it..I suggest that you call the police and tell them that the "farm dogs" aren't being kept on leashes, and are roaming around and causing a noise disturbance. The police will be forced to do something about the dogs.

What kind of answer are you expecting from a place full of animal lovers? I hope those "mutts" pi$$ on you even though this is clearly a joke topic. If not you're mental.

If your s-10 is so sweet, maybe you should protect it from the "elements" by putting a cover on it or putting it in a garage. It doesn't sound like it goes anywhere anyway. ;)

Your whole question is rendered moot as only a troglodyte would ever describe ANY S-10 pickup to be "sweet".
Grow up you dolt.
