what is the difference between good and excellent IIHS safety ratings?

the iihs has poor, marginal, acceptable, and good. the is no excellent in the iihs ratings. good is as good as it gets. but they generally do offer top safety picks, which means the car/truck performed well in all tests.

basicly the same only exelent is a little better
