Unrequited love is painful and awful. When it happened to me I felt used and raped. It was horrible.

From now on let your mate earn you and vice versa.

I am so sorry this happened to you. You need to grieve in order to move on.

Never allow this person into or near your life again.

It certainly hurts and takes some time to get over, but the best thing to do is to move on. Of course, I don't know the circumstances surrounding this problem, but there's a possibility this person said this just to hurt you (but not really meaning it). Anyway, you don't want to be with someone who doesn't want to be with you. You'll find love, but you have to look for it! Good luck!

1) Chalk it up to experience..
2) Go over the time you were together.. play it back like a movie you're watching so you won't be in the emotional stuff... That way you can see clearly what really happened, instead of what you wanted it to be.
3) Look for signals and patterns to his/her behavior... Ther most assuradly were signals that told you they didn't care... you just refused to accept that at the time...
- learn from it, and don't make those same mistakes in the future.
- Sorry, and good luck in your future.

What someone else feels or does not feel about you is completely irrelevant. We cannot make anyone love us and we cannot stop them from leading us to believe they do. We are only responsible for our own feelings and actions. It would also be unfair for you to hold another person in bad standing because they did not love you.

Find someone who will love you and will not lie to you about their feelings, for the better or worse.

Good luck, a broken heart is a devestating burden to carry around and, we all have been there.

You get over it, because the alternative is to wallow in your misery the rest of your life...and that's just a waste of life and energy.

You probably meant something to them, or they wouldn't have been with you...it's likely you just didn't mean as much to them as they did to you, or as you wanted to.

Go through your grief and then shake it off and move on. They aren't grieving over you, so why let them rent space in your head or heart for free? There will be many other options and opportunities in life...don't miss out on a single one!

Find a lawyer and go after them. Hurt them. Bad. Real bad.

Or change the channel and find someone else to love.

I dropped Britney Spears way back when I saw the tattoos. What a pig. And then I saw the beaver photos. Gross. Real gross. After childbirth. Yukko., disgusting.

And Anna Kournikova broke my heart after seeing HER tattoo on her lower back. What the hell, huh?

You tell yourself that you deserve a lot better. You hold your head up high and move on. It isn't easy but you say to yourself over and over again "I am strong enough to get over this"

Good luck
