you've done the first step by believing in Him. the next thing is to realize the fact that you need Him. if you know that you're a sinner (aka a person who sins which is everyone) and that there's a gap between you and God because of this, then you need to realize that the only way to bridge that gap is for Christ to take your punishment and offer you a place in Heaven. if you realize all of these things, then all you need to do is pray to God and thank Him for offering you this gift of salvation, this gift of skipping out on a forever punishment and in return spend forever with Him. tell Him that you accept His salvation and that you want to serve and love Him. ask that He come into your life and renew your heart, which is to offer His Holy Spirit to come and start a change in you that will make you more like Christ.
this is hard to explain in such a short answer. if you want more info, or if you have other questions, go ahead and contact me. i'd be glad to help.

This will take you step by step: http://www.eeinternational.org/DYKFS/English/DYK_Eng_1.htm

Basically you should understand and believe these things:
1. Heaven is a free gift-it cannot be earned or deserved.
2. Man is a sinner and cannot save himself.
3. God is merciful and doesn't want to punish us, but He is just so He must punish sin.
4. Jesus Christ was God and Man. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and rose from the grave to purchase a place for us in Heaven.
5. Faith in Jesus Christ is the way to Heaven. This means trusting in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life. Rest on Christ alone and what He has done, not what you can do.

So transfer your trust to Christ, accept Him as your Savior, receive Him as Lord, and repent. If you pray these things to Him you will be saved! :-)

Romans 10:10,13 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. For, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

John 6:47 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes has eternal life.

Luke 15:10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.

God is so happy! You have now accepted Him and that means you want to live yor life for Him. Get involved with an organization that will help you! The steps to being saved are: Hear the word, Believe the word, Repent of your sins and be Baptized.

All Christians reading this...we should all pray for our new brother or sister in Christ that things will go easy for him/her.

Praise God.

It is very very simple. It is so simple that many people don't do it because they can't believe it is as simple as it is and think that there must be more to it.

*God sent His Son to be your Savior (1 John 4:10)
*The living Savior invites sinners to receive Him. (Matthew 11:28)
*Agree with God that yu are a lost sinner unable to save yourself. (You can't buy your way into heaven or work your way into heaven by being good.) (Romans 5:8).
*Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and that the shedding of His blood was payment for your sins.
*Tell God you are sorry for your sins and ask him to help you have victory over the sin in your life.
*Acknowledge that you need him and ask him to come into your heart and stay with you forever. (john 1:12)
*Confess the Lord Jesus Christ before men. (Romans 10:9) (John 5:24)

(If you do this and accept Jesus as your personal Savior be sure to write down the date because this is a very important day.)

I'm glad to hear that you do believe in Jesus.

Knowledge about him is essential. The 4 gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke and John covers most of his birth, life and death.
(John 17:3)

By reading these books one gets a deeper understanding of what is required as a follower of Christ.

Then by applying these requirements, one shows they are accepting him as the Savior.

(For an ex. John 3:16;John 13:34,35;Matt 28:19,20)

As long as you believe in Him just pray that you want Him in your life, in your heart and that you know He is the Truth and Light and the pathway to Heaven.

The word "Believe" means to trust, to depend on, to rely on. To Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ means that you accept the fact that you are a sinner, that as a sinner you owe the sin penalty , and that Jesus Christ died on the cross , was buried, and arose again on the third day to pay the debt you owe.

Now, if you will TRUST
Jesus Christ as your Saviour,

Pray this Simple Prayer from Your Heart:

Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I deserve to pay for my own sins, but I do believe that You died for me, to pay for my sins. Today, the best I know how, I will trust You as my saviour. I will depend on You from this moment on for my salvation. Amen.

The moment you do this, God promises you are not condemned but have everlasting life and that you will never perish in Hell. "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life" (John 5:24).

Jesus was God's perfect sacrifice, so that His righteousness is given to us, and we can again dwell in the presence of of a pure and holy God. Salvation has three parts. Praying and telling God what you feel and think, be who you are when talking (prayign) with Him. At that point, He promises His salvation:

Instant: Justification. Freedom from the PENALTY of sin. The price was paid with Jesus, and the gift is yours.

Continuing: As you work on the person you are, and live in thankfulness, you seek to know Him more as you would any other relationship in your life. This is called sanctification. its freedom from the POWER of sin.

When Christ return: GLORIFICATION. You will be brought into the perfection relationship with God. Freedom from the PRESCENCE of sin.

Welcome, and email anytime, I be happy to talk to you about it more.

Get Baptized in Jesus Name. Get the Holy Ghost. Live right. Saying a prayer doesnt save you. You have to have more than that.

Ask him to forgive you of your sins and to live in your heart. He is listening and will answer. Remember, everyone is a sinner and we all need God in our lives one way or the other. I am glad to see this question. Pray like you are writing God a letter and ask him for anything you need. I will pray for you, too. Where two or more are gathered in my name..I shall be there...Good luck my friend
