I enjoy talking with parents, relatives, and friends about questions and concerns...often over lunch paid by yours truly lol. We understand its important to take control of your life and have the support to do it at the same time.

Well if your 18 your aunt doesn't matter if your 17 just wait it out. I am sure the shooting will still be going on as long as bush is president. All it takes is a little patients kid. use the time to get yourself in better shape and make boot that much easier perhaps join the school ROTC program if they have one. They will teach you how to march and how to perform parade drills with your M-16. All this will give you an edge in boot you may even become the recruit in charge of the other recruits this looks very good come advancement time.

If you're 18 or older, then your aunt has no say in this decision. She can't force you to not go in the army.

if you are 18 or older and your aunt has that much power over you that's sad. you need to grow up and make a decision for yourself . And if you do go in and you still have the same mind set you will probably just get people killed.

Your aunt won't let you? If you let your aunt run your life for you I suggest you aren't the sort of person we need. Stay home and tend to her every whim.
If this offends you then maybe you should get off your back-side and grow-up. Do what you want to do. It's your life! Take control of it.
