Scan your photographs then save it on a file in your c drive. Most likely the pictures folder. Then you go to your e-mail account, and click on the send messages. Once there you write your note, and click on the attachment browse button. From there you go into your pictures folders and find your photograph. Click on it and the address should appear in the attachment bar. Click to upload. Now you have to make sure grandma knows how to view the photograph. She has to open the attachment and save the photograph either in a folder or on her desktop. Don't know if she's using Picassa or Adobe photo folders, but most likely your photograph will be viewable in one of these photo softwares.

if your phone has bluetooth (you will find this in the settings and under connectivity) then you can buy a bluetooth dongle for about £5 from your local market or copmuter shop. It will come complete with software which you load up onto your computer and is pritty simple to use. It is also faster than infra red. If you dont have bluetooth does your phone have a memory card if so go into your local computer shop and ask them for their cheapest card reader this will be usb and you just plug it and it comes with software. This is pritty simple to use aswell. Also, most phones now come with a usb connector which can connect your phone to your computer it comes complete with software and i find is the easiest and it is free. If your phone has none of these then i recomend going to your local opertators store and asking them for advise im sure they will be happy to help.
