The belief that any righteous people, who belong to a religion whose God is not Jesus, would suffer hellfire; this is a hideous and evil belief.

This is a belief that was surely concocted by Satan himself.

How many million rabid Baptists does it take to change a sick belief into fact?

"Critical Mass of Church People"- LMAO, now that's a concept.!

It takes only 7kg of Neptunium-236 ( a very 'reasonable' element) to go critical if done the right way. However the greater the mass the more 'stubborn' it becomes.

Christians are the most stubborn substance on the planet so they deserve the highest 'value'. That would be Protactinium-231 which requires an average of 840 kg.

So I am thinking in purely mathematical terms;
If we consider that as a value and we say that 'non-Christians' are not as 'stubborn' (read open-minded) as 'Christians'... then the following hypothesis is true.

7kg. to 840 kg. = 1 sensible person to 120 'Christians'.
Following this thread to its logical conclusion we would need probably 500 people in anything to lend enough 'credibility' to a given movement so the world might pay attention to it...

So I would have to say that we'd need to get 60,000 'Christians' to pack into one Church and actually not FIGHT about the color of the hair of Jesus for 4 Sunday gatherings.

My guess is *poof*, God would appear and give them all their "Senior Level Brownie Point Belief Badges" and the worlds troubles would stop within a matter of a few moments...

Do you have any idea what 'critical mass' means? It's hard to ask questions that sound profound when you begin with something so pompously ignorant, grammar and punctuation aside.

Satan's goal is to make all men miserable like unto himself. So I think you're partially correct. It is Satan that makes Hell so miserable. However I don't believe only Christians will go to Heaven. We will all be judged on the light and knowledge we recieved while on this earth.

"There is none righteous, no not one" Romans 3:10. People don't go to hell because they don't believe in Jesus. They go to hell because they violate the law as witnessed to by their conscience. Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost, not seek and destroy that which was already pretty good. Hope that makes sense.

Man sinned and needed to be redeemed. God came in the form of a man, Jesus, and bought back what man could not. He is the door to salvation, He paid the price. That is not cruel it is just the truth

(Romans 10:3) For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

If they have never heard of Jesus or the Good News of the Bible and live according with what they know is right, then they can go to Heaven.

But if they reject Jesus or the Good News of the Bible, then they will Not go to Heaven.
