What do guys like the best in a girlfriend? Do they like a clingy needy girlfriend who is always calling them once or twice a day? Or, do they prefer a girlfriend who does not call them at all and waits until the guy does the calling?

It should go both ways, not one person should do all the calling in a relationship. It's not a one way street, otherwise you wouldn't be together, or shouldn't be. Every person is different tho, some people like the clingy type and others can't stand it. You really have to try and get it out of him, find out what he likes. You don't want to ask him straight out, do it indirectly to get hints as to what he likes and doesn't like. Maybe ask him why his last relationship didn't work out, you might get your answer there.

A mixture of the two. If it's a relationship then it's give and take. You can't expect to be the only one to be called and you shouldn't be calling all the time. It has to be a win-win relationship both sides have to give in order to get.

In between, call me but not everyday. 2 clingy will push a guy away, and if you keep 2 much distance the guy will think you are cheating or not interested (which will make him cheat) so you have to balance it.

Can't say I'd like either extreme. A combination would be nice, somewhere in the middle. I would like a girlfriend who is like me in these respects. That makes things a lot easier.
