I don't know about birth control, but with any other meds I have used or seem it usually takes at least 3-4 months to become completely effective. I would test in a few weeks to make sure. GOOD LUCK!

I don't know the numbers statistically, but I DO know that the pill is not considered to be effective until you have taken a full 7 days of pills. So your chances are just as good as if you weren't on the pill at all.

If you have never taken BC before you need at least 30 days. If you have it should be effective within the first 7 days.

You are supposed to wait 7 days because it can take that long. I'd take a test in a week or so.

Its excellent.

The pill doesnt regulate your cycle correctly until 3 months in.

Its doesnt begin to protect you at any level until about 2 weeks.

well i know with the pill your supposed to use condoms the first month you start that way its in your body awhile, sooo i guess it depends what kind of birthcontrol your on.
