I've tried everything- throwing boots in his mouth, two-by-fours, hand grenades, dropping an anvil on him, throwing him in a doghouse and nailing it shut with boards, tying him to a tree on top of a mountain top miles away...but he always returns good as new and crowing louder than ever. I even tried reasoning with him. What do I do?

If this is your biggest problem, then you should count your blessings.

(Assuming your home is one you own, in the country, where its legal to have live chickens on your property)

Consider yourself lucky: in many cities & towns, you cannot have livestock of any kind.....

And just think about those fresh eggs you're getting!
