okay maybe it might be 5 months...i was totally just into screwing guys & had to find out the hard way that one night stands aren't really all that! anyhow so im on this track of only having 1-nighters, i meet this man who is showing interest in me; & he seems to like me. Now i am highly attracted to him i think it safe to say that i like him. however i feel that if i sleep with this one i feel i might get hurt. he's asked me to go home with him twice & i've refused! if a guy just wanted to hit it & quit it he wouldn't keep calling me right? like he would ultimately go somewhere else & get a piece of *** right? i don't date much so this is kind of new to have an atractive guy persue me...i've heard of him turning down opportunities to hook up with other females cause he met someone(meaning me). is it safe to say that he likes me too. or in the world of dating is that just what real men do, they wait to see where things go out of respect not seeing anyone else?

nah, see, he might legit like you like that, but i wouldnt put my money on it. if you and him are/were mor einto the sleeping around scene, then theres a smaller chance hes romantically interested in you. it could be that he sees you as some kinda methphorical "mountain" he has to climb, you know? like some kind of sexual conquest. thats how it was for me and my buddies in college, i dont kno how old you are, or if you're past that scene, but thats how a lot of guys think

EDIT
See, like, I say don't sleep with this guy, because honestly, it sounds like a whole buncha drama just building up, and if you sleep with him it could go like one of two ways. ONE- it clears your head, you can think straight, all that ish. or TWO- it triggers like a bomb and u get some kind of drama sh*t storm raining down on you.
your call to risk it, i wouldnt do it, but im not you.

What ever you do, do not tell him your history of one-night stands just tell him the truth about you being celibate for a few months and your waiting for that right man to have a monogamist relationship with. That should turn him on; men just love to hear that they are the first one, in a long time.

sometimes guys want what they cannot have. I wouldnt say for sure that he is a good respectable guy nor a scumbag... you just cant always tell.
what it comes down to is you like him, so GO FOR IT!

He just wants some of what everyone else has had already to compare experiences.

some guys will stop at nothing. they will keep calling and calling until you give in and then it's over. don't go home with him just yet.

multiple sex partners = bad. it transmits diseases.

stick to one.

have a stable life. a stable job. get married. stick with him. live happily ever after.

the end. =)

My guess is that he likes you. My advice is to ask him if he wants to be exclusively with you in a relationship and see where it goes from there.
