1) Are you saying that telling someone how you feel about them can make you look like a fool???
- If your answer is yes, then step one is to get over that reciculous misconseption..
2) There is nothing out of line of foolish about telling someone how you feel about them... period.
- If that someone puts you down because you did... then I take that as a most positive thing... i.e. they have just shown me who they really are and of course they are not the kind of person I would want to be with..

There is always a risk in telling someone about your feelings. I suggest that you write it in a letter. Be as respectful and as nice as you can and tell her that it is OK if she does not share you feelings. Just write that it is important that you share your feelings and that you respect her and hope that at the very least you can be friends. The good thing about a letter is that it save you embarrassment and if she feels awkward then it is a little easier for her too.

Be polite and honest. Tell her that you have been feeling like this ever since_______ and would like to get to know her more or we could be friends but ask her if we are friends then help me get this feeling off since you don't like me like that. That way she could feel like you have time for her and put a smile on her.
