Well, most people don't like it or want it, but it's been with us since the beginning. On the goods side, it seems to be less frequent and of shorter duration than in times past. These lots os saber-rattling but not as much actual conflict. Although it seems like more only because we hear about it more. Look back in history and you'll find that this is the case.
The best we can hope for is that when wars do happen, the side of freedom wins out.
