I caught two catfish on the same single hook at the same time. I threw out the bait on my canepole, fish hit, I jerked them both in at the same time. The first one had the hook slip out his gills.

Learning to fish using a cane pole and my dad was teaching me to really set the hook when they bite. Well a friend stopped on the culvert we were fishing at and I had a bite. I jerked the pole, out of the water flew the fish, across the hood of this guys truck, and into the ditch on the other side of the road. The fish got away.

Was snagging carp when I seen a muskrat swimming down the ditch. He sees me and dives under. I cast out ahead of his wake and set the hook. I catch him square in the tail and have a hell of a time getting him in. When I do, my dad has a hell of a time beating him to death with a dead horseweed.

Was out in the middle of bass lake that is only 1400 acres and 99 percent developed on the shoreline.....not a lot of privacy. Add in the fact that there are a lot of skiers and tubers etc, they isn't much privacy. Had to take a dump and the boat ramp is on the other side of the lake. I hang my butt over the edge of the boat and drop a nice log into the lake. Heck of a spot for a skier to take a spill LOL.

While fishing the Dead Lakes in the panhandle of Florida,me and my fishing partner were in a Cypress root system. We could see swirls in the water around the roots. We thought it was bass getting frogs or mice so we started using frog spot Jitterbugs. We caught 2 or 3 bass about 1 or 2 pounds each when my partner cast under some roots and BAM! something hit his lure. The rod he was using was bending and the line was stripping off the reel it took 15 or 20 minutes to get controll. We were sure we had hooked a super size bass.
After more than 30 minutes he had it near the boat.He gave a tug and I grabbed the net and dipped up a 2 foot long alligator. We gave him the Jitterbug and got out before a bigger gator made its way to us.

My dad and i were landing a 3 pound northern pike with the net when this 20 pound northern came out of no where and attacked the 3 pounder still on the line. I had the net out ready to grab the 3 pounder but as soon as i had the net in the water and coming towards them the 20 pounder let go and took off... It was awesome I'm glad the water was clear and we were able to see that.. Thats once in a life time experience

Hmm lets see...
...one time I was trying to get a knot out of my line and ended up hand lining a 10 pound brown trout in.
...out salmon fishing, our lines got tangled. so as I was bringing them in by hand a small king salmon hit 2 foot from the boat. As I set the hook with a tremendous jerk, outta the water and into the boat come the bait with salmon in tow.
...jiggin for perch through the ice, I snagged a brown trout in the bung hole.
...lost my keys in 80 foot of water through the ice. Caught them though jigging with 8lb test and an old speaker that I had in the back of my truck.
...escorted a whitetail deer across a lake one time because it was starting to go under.
...caught two bass on the same lure multiple times.
...got flashed by a few hotties multiple times.
...fell in a river while fighting a fish and let it drag me downriver.
...farted in my Carhartts and had to strip to get the smell out!
...had an antifisherman throw my stringer back in the water only to watch the DNR tackle him 40 feet away and haul him off :)
...actually caught a fish for this years bass tournament.
...speaking of bass tournament, saw the funniest thing happen this year. My friends younger brother was sitting in a seat by the edge of the boat. Well he leaned back too far and ended up in the drink seat and all.
...had it get bright as day in the middle of a new moon night while out in the boat.
...had my grandfather's friend drop his pants and dump a load in a bucket right next to me in an ice shanty. Some people have no shame!
...too many to list here!

I was fishing, and looked up and about 100 feet above my head was a UFO. Now I'm not saying it was an alien space craft, but it was definatley oddly shaped, silent, and moving way to slow for any of the aircrafts I have ever seen before. It just floated away.

I was jig fishing for bass and caught a 5 pounder that had a 16 inch long catfich stuck in its mouth and it still went after my jig. Must have been one hungry bass. I removed the catfish (it was still alive but just barely) and released the bass.

This really happened!

A friend hooked my brother when casting, pierced his ear. We were fishing off a very small boat.
