During the third week after exposure, and about 24 to 36 hrs. before the 1st series of lesions, you may have a mild headache, low-grade fever, and malaise (feeling really punk). Then comes the initial rash of "teardrop" vesicles surrounded by a red areola. Diagnosis can usually be made at this time. There will then be 3 or 4 distinct crops of lesions with about 1 day separating each crop. Thus, after a day or so, you'll be able to see lesions in various stages of development.

Symptoms
hi i found this hope it helps

The early symptoms of chicken pox are cold symptoms, fever, abdominal pain, headache, and a general feeling of illness. These can come with the rash or a day or two before it. The fever may be higher the first few days after the rash appears.

The rash appears as small, itchy, red bumps and spots on the face, scalp, shoulders, chest, and back. It is also normal for it to appear inside the mouth, on the eyelids, and in the genital area. Some people may have just a few bumps, while others are covered with them.

The early bumps are usually flat, red marks with central, clear blisters. The blisters quickly dissolve and become dry crusts or scabs, which fall off within
2 weeks. New sores continue to appear for the first 4 to 5 days, so all stages of the rash may be present at the same time.

Most children with chickenpox act sick with vague symptoms, such as a fever, headache, tummy ache, or loss of appetite, for a day or two before breaking out in the classic pox rash. These symptoms last 2 to 4 days after breaking out.
The average child develops 250 to 500 small, itchy, fluid-filled blisters over red spots on the skin (“dew drops on a rose petal”). The blisters often appear first on the face, trunk, or scalp and spread from there. Appearance of the small blisters on the scalp, found in 80% of cases, clinches the diagnosis. After a day or two, the blisters become cloudy and then scab. Meanwhile, new crops of blisters spring up in groups. The pox often appear in the mouth, in the vagina, and on the eyelids. Children with skin problems such as eczema may get more than 1,500 pox.
Most pox will not leave scars unless they become contaminated with bacteria from scratching.
Some children who have had the vaccine will still develop a mild case of chickenpox. They usually recover much quicker and only have a few pox (< 30). These often do not follow the classic descriptions of the disease. However, these mild, post-vaccine cases are contagious.

You feel rubbish, lethargic, ache and flu like for 2 weeks then you burst out in little blisters. Don't scratch these, even though they are very itchy, as removing the tops will scar you with 'pock' marks. If you knock a few off the scars will disappear given a bit of time as they will be shallow. If you scratch the scars will be deep, so you will have to learn self-discipline if you can't resist.

I got Chicken Pox at 23 and I felt like **** for two weeks. When the blisters came out I was covered from head to toe. I had them everywhere. In my mouth, on my gums, up my bum, around my eyelids and on my privates as well as my body, in my hair, face ears, EVERYWHERE. I didn't wash my hair until the spots had dried up. i looked great like an extra from Sean Of the Dead or the Singing Detective.

Good luck

Incidentally, once the blisters come out you actually feel a lot better you just look terrible. For weeks.

chicken pox will rapidly start on your back wrap around to the front and than spread to your pelvic area once this happens they will spread to your hands face arms legs where ever they want they look similar to blisters but don't scratch them open or they will spread more do not DO NOT take asprin with chicken pox you can have serious complications you might get a slight fever but its usually just itchy and uncomfertable the best thing to do is get some oatmeal bath and calamine lotion. i hope your not an adult if you get chicken pox as an adult it can lead to shingles and other complications do not go out and infect other people either good luck it sucks

You'll know when you start seeing the rash. It usually starts on the trunk of the body. The rash looks like a bunch of pus filled nodules.

Other symptoms include fever, lack of appetite, headache, sore throat, and feeling very tired.

Usually you get it 2-3 weeks after exposure. I got it as an adult and even had the pox in my throat.
