No, but they should clean up after themselves! In my household, we keep moist, flushable wipes in all the bathrooms so the 2 males in the household can do just that!

Three cheers!! 1st I'm 66 m.
20 years ago wife #2 made such an issue of the toilet seat and the splash or drips on the seat I always put the seat up. Then one night she sat without looking into the bowl and got wet very wet. So I started sitting. So here is the resolution:
Toilet at home sit. Also at friends homes.
Toilet elsewhere, lift the seat, pee standing.
Otherwise stand only if at a urinal

Standing up to pee is a right of passage for a boy. Keep a thingy of handi-wipes next to the toilet and teach him to wipe off the seat when he's done.

Urine is sterile, no germs, bugs, bacteria, viruses, etc
Butt cheeks however are open spaces for all the above to breed. There is a much greater chance of get stuff from a toilet seat when someone sits on it.
If you want more chances to spread disease then by all means sit.

Perhaps you should ask," should women be taught how to keep their stinky pussy juice away when being licked?"
