Why would you give your greiving sister a Christmas gift to remind her of such a loss?

If you want to do something in her childs memory I would save that for another time of year - it isn't appropriate for Christmas IMO. Think about it - you're whole family gathered around the tree with your poor sister sobbing over the gift you gave her....

I think it would be very nice to do something like the above suggestion - just not now

Yor sis will be grieving for the rest of her life. I have 5 kids and I could not imagine my life without any of them. I would think get her something she likes or even a gc for an evening out. She needs to continue living no matter how difficult it is her child would want that for her. Hope you and your family have a wonderful xmas!

When my mom's dad died 15 years ago they took his favorite coat and took it a woman who make a teddy bear out of it. Maybe you could take the son's favorite coat or something and make a bear out of, so that whenever she is missing him she can hug the bear and feel a hole lot better it works for my mom is should work for your sister. Just make sure she has an awsome Christmas.

First off,I want to say "my heart goes out to the whole family!
Go and get your sister a gift certificate to pampering land,so she could get her nails, feet,& massage. That won't take her mind off her son 4-ever,but that preciouse time,at that moment will feel so good!!

Enlarge a nice photograph of her son and put it in a beautiful picture frame and give it to her. May God give her strength to overcome this sadness.
