She is probably just saying she will kill herself for attention, but maybe not. I don't think he would want that kind of guilt on his shoulders if she did do something like that. This is what I suggest: tell him to tell her he is busy when she wants to get together and he doesn't want to. He could say he already has plans, taking a new class or joined a club. He could also encourage her to join something she enjoys too, it will help build up her self esteem. Over time they will see less of each other and hopefully she will realize she doesn't need to be with someone to be happy. As for her accusing him of cheating, there's not much he can do then continually tell her he's not. If the break up is slow, it will be less hard on her.

He loves her, but he can't stand to deal with her. She's going to kill herself if he leaves. I doubt that, people love themselves too much for that. How can you love someone that you can't stand to deal with?

Both need some relationship counselling. If they can't afford a psychiatrist, try a pastor at a local church.

Your friend has to lookout for what is best for him. Unfortunately if someone else is thinking of killing herself because he is going to break up with her. Then He definitely needs to get out of that relationship before she kills him.

The best thing to do is for him to talk to whomever is closest to the girl besides him, friends, relatives, etc. and have them get her help.

He need to talk to her parents and let them know what's going on.
If she is suicidal she needs help ,fast!
In the meantime he needs to break up with her because she is manipulating his emotions.

He should tell her straight up on what's going on and how he feels. Thats what relationships are about, trust and honesty.
