You will definiately have to regain your flexibility back at a slow rate and after your injury has totally healed because you do not want to cause the same injury to reoccur. A process known as rehabilitation takes you in step to help you gain back flexibility as well as strength and muscle endurance. It may be a long process because you will have to stretch and regain strength back into your legs. I would suggest going to see a physical threrapist for more answers and the proper program you need to get you doing splits once again.

Yoga is a great way to regain flexibility. Make sure you are taught by a certified yoga instructor because if they not certified they can hurt you. Also the yoga DVDs are good as well just make sure you follow the directions closely. Do a little everyday and you should regain your flexibility pretty soon.
Hope these websites help. The second one has stretches for the hamstring.

Suffered these kind of sports injuries for years, very debilitating and very very frustrating I know. I missed whole seasons. You can't rush recovery or the damage will not heal right. Try stretching it in a hot bath but don't overstretch it stop when it hurts. Over time you'll do the splits again.

I agree - as above. Yoga is great for flexibility and Pilates would be great for strength and may be able to help prevent you from getting a recurring injury to your hamstring.

Diet, rest and water is also important. Ensure that you get plenty good quality of each as appropriate to keep your body well nourished.

daily, work your way as far down to the splits as you can (left, box and right) as well as touching yours toes with straight legs daily until your can get your palms flat on the floor, but once you can do it, keep doing it otherwise the muscles will tighten again.
