I am post trib. I don't think it will. I believe the church will be here for the rest of the world to persecute during that whole time period... Jim

I am a Christian, However, I do not believe the rapture that you are talking about is in the bible at all (I know some Christians DO believe this)
I believe that as a Christian, I will have to endure the "end time" just as everyone else. I think God would have us there to be an example to those who dont believe so that many more could be saved. I dont think God would take all those who believe off the earth to watch as all the non-believers deal with the insane things that will happen at the end. It just doesnt make sense and its not biblical.
So, to answer your question - If there is no rapture, I either get persecuted for being a Christian and become a martyr for Jesus or I endure through the horrible things that will happen and get to see Jesus coming in the clouds.
:)

I don't know, but I think that something is going to happen. Religion is becoming so controversial lately. I think we all feel inside something big is gonna happen. I can't say its the rapture, but who knows? Rapture is only mentioned once in the Bible. It is from the Greek word raptura, which means thief in the night. But the Bible is a compilation of different works from different writers. It was rearranged by Constantine's scholars and arranged in the manner in which he felt appropriate. Jesus didn't tell us to follow Christianity, we created it around him. He was a student and was actually a well versed scholar who traveled to many places. He was in Egypt and Kashmir. So much was hidden about the life of Jesus. He doesn't even show up in the Bible until his 30's. So the main stream Christian follows the way they are told, and really never take a scholarly look at the facts. Jesus wanted us to understand life is a spiritual journey and we should not limit our mind to one point of view. I bet if Jesus was here today he wouldn't be following today's Christian. He would probably be in your church tipping over the tables again....

Human arrogance, to think that they will be a rapture and the chosen ones will go to heaven and the others will stay behind and suffer! Do you honestly think that we are that special? What if the rapture happens? We're still waiting.....promises, promises.

Well, so? Am I going to be alive for the hundreds of years it may take to get here? If I die, will I know its not coming? No.
Well, what if it does? This is a hypothetical question that cant be answered, because it cant be proven one way or another, YET.

Then life, as we know it, goes on. Though it will eventually end through some cataclysmic event, such as the sun going into the red giant phase, global nuclear war or something.

"IF" the Rapture doesn't happen, then nothing happens. But a better question would be" what if it DOES happen?" Where will YOU be then? Huh?
Given a choice, I had rather live my life as if there IS a God and die to find out there isn't than I had to live my life as if there isn't a God only to die and find out there IS!
My "vote" is it will happen, and that God is real.

It will (I've read the end of the story (Revelation)).
What will happen to you when it does? That is, if it is in your lifetime? What path have you chosen? Are you ready if Christ comes back tomorrow? What about today?
Your decisions will determine your eternity...Choose well!
