I do 6 days out of the week. I do weight training in the morning (different muscle groups each day, and each muscle group once a week), and cardio in the afternoon after work.
So far, my results are mixed. I've added more muscle, but have a hard time with diet, so have not lost as much fat as I would like to. But I have lost some (about 12 pounds since the beginning of October).

I work out every day of my life and have for the past 5 or 6 years (minus a few days here and there of course) I generally run 4-5 miles, then lift weights. If I have a ton of energy, then I will also do the elliptical for about 15-20 minutes. I try to vary my workouts, so sometimes I do classes at the gym. I love step aerobics.
I started because I was chunky and I started seeing results within a couple weeks. I am really lean and toned now. (105 pounds, size 0, six-pack, etc.) I'm a firm believer in working out.

When I was 263 pounds, I worked out everyday because as I was losing weight, I did not want sagging skin. I lost 112 pounds with no sagging skin. I lost a lot of inches but my weight may seem heavy because of the muscles. I went from 263 pounds to 151 which for me is size 26/28 to size 8/10. I put on weight easy when I go back to high carb foods like, donuts, candy, chips, pop, bread, etc. So, after losing, continue to try and eat healthy.
P.S. Working out took a great deal of time from my social life, family life and what matter to me but I decided to put all that aside until I lost the weight. My life is just great now and I am glad I did it with the support of my family. Best of luck.
OH< my workouts lasted 2 hours a day along with showering, redoing my hair, gym bag together, etc. and driving to the gym, it would normally take a good 3-4 hours of my day.

I work out 6 days a week and take Sunday's off. It's not good to work out 7 days straight because the body needs a day to rest and recover. Recovery days are just as important for results as are work out days.

I cycle every day for about an hour and twenty minutes. It keeps my weight steady without having to worry too much about what I eat, and stops me getting out of breath when climbing stairs.
