Part of this depends on the $$ of downpayment you have...if you can provide 10% down, the interest will be less. But, with the score below 700..it will be somewhat higher not matter how much you put down. Make sure you shop for rates....remember....any number of inquiries can be made on your credit within a 2 week period of time..as long as they are all for the same purpose..it won't harm your credit score...but, if you drag it out....the more inquirires you have..the lower your score will go....Good Luck!

with a credit score below 700 you might be looking at a little bit higher but not by much shop around and find the best interest rate that you, most banks will allow you to prequailfy and sometimes if you are planning on buying soon they will lock that rate in for you! If you are planning on buying soon and your credit score has not gone down yet I would look into finding out if you can lock in a rate now before it does! Best of Luck!

check with your local credit union - rates and fees are lower.
There is more to your credit thatn just score (ie installment credit, job time, income, etc.)
