Well trust me My Girlfriend was in a few bad relationships during her short life. Of course now she met me and she is very happy and she's not afraid of guys anymore. ask him out by talking to him and don't write to him because if you write like you asked this question he won't even reply you. I suggest you to be patient and if he shows a sign that he is anyway like any of the others leave him. but don't be afraid you'll find a good guy eventually.

well everyone is not the same just take it slow, communication is the key to a good relationship start out as friends, and let him know what you've been through so hell understand better giving him also the oppertunity to deside if he wants or can deal with you. I would again take it slow expecially if your just getting out of a relationship you need so healing personaly, and emotionally.
