i think its rude to tell someone that is askin a health question people say rudely dont be comin on here were not Drs.that is rude and encourages people not to want to ask of course the people who have an account here know we are not Drs. we on all on here givin advice like u could say ur oppinion and the say u should let ur Dr know not be rude and say u shouldnt be on here lookin ...we are all here to give what we think because others have experienced different things ..were not here to be rude ..we shouldnt do that some people dont have rightful families to ask stuff so they turn to yahoo answers to get maybe an idea on what they should do ..i just think if people are gonna say that stuff they shouldnt even be answering,u could be the cause of someone not wanting to come back and could be a person who may be able to guide you in wat ever question u have we should all be nice and just be helpfull not rude!!

Well because we're not Doctors. People say that to make sure that the person they're talking to understands that the information being given is not from a professional perspective. If I were answering someone's medical question I wouldn't nessecarily want them to rely on my answer. I may have some insight, or some suggestion as to what it's all about, but I'm not qualified to tell them for sure. I don't see how it's rude to make it clear that your info is not 100%.

If it's okay for people to get on here and ask any stupid question that pops into their heads conversely you will find people that give stupid answers. It depends on the question but sometimes it is appropriate to tell someone to talk to a doctor. It's like when someone asks "How do I file a divorce in Oklahoma?" To which people inevitably respond "Talk to a lawyer," because that's what they really should be doing. Sometimes that's the best advice of all.

A lot of people are rude on here when answering questions. I think they just want to rack up points and are not really interested in giving their opinions/advice to the person who is asking.
