Exod. 22: 29-30, "29 You shall not delay the offering from your harvest and your vintage. The first-born of your sons you shall give to Me. 30 You shall do the same with your oxen and with your sheep. It shall be with its mother seven days; on the eighth day you shall give it to Me."

The Egyptians practiced baby sacrifice, however the Bible tells us that God stopped Abraham from sacrificing Isaac because of the fact human sacrifice is in no way proper to God. We redeem our first-born by ability of making a symbolic contribution. the only sacrifices allowed have been grains, oils, little critters, and so on., and the only part of the sacrifice meant for God became the aroma. The sacrifice itself became foodstuff for the Levites and their families. that they had no land and no ability of help. One does not learn Christianity without analyzing the 2d testomony, in basic terms as one does not learn Judaism without analyzing the Talmud. .
