Around the first day of 7th grade i broke my wrist ( playing soccer) and I was an A student i got straight A's all through my 6th grade year. And then I started worring about what would happen in gym. I told him that I was going to transfer to a different class and he said okay talk to the counsler about that, so I did so I became a proctor for a computer class then 2 weeks later he says to come back my grade is dropping fast so i come back. Then he has me coach the girls in football with my broken wrist and he didn't let me participate in anything. So at the end of the quarter he gives me a B for not participating then i show him a syllabus he gave and it says " if note from doctor saying not to participate in sports your grade will not be lowered in any way" and i had a note from doctor then he says well that was only for temporaily injuries so I ruined my straight A's. Then this quarter he says that out of 4 boys i was one that got an A ( my wrist was healed) so is this far??

voice your concerns to your counselor, and have your parents talk with the principle. I think you are right. You should not have been docked due to a broken wrist, especially when you coached a team, and other things as well. If you were my kid, I would stick up for you, and help get things made better, especially because it is important to you, and your grades to have straight A's. Great job for that.

If you had a note from your doctor stating you should not participate in gym class, you should be excused. You did your part coaching girl's football, and did what you were told. Your grade should not have been affected. Talk to your teacher first, and if he's not willing to do something about it, then go the next step up, and keep going until this problem is resolved...ask your parents for help, too. You should stand your ground to what you think is unfair; don't just let this slide.

It sounds like it is not fair; have you discussed it with the principal? Did you do A work while you were coaching?
If you go to the authorities you may be able to fix this.
But even if it does not get fixed, it is a one-time problem and should not have a big effect on your GPA.

Who cares? Its just the seventh grade. No big deal. Not going to hurt you going into university or anything. Why rock the boat? High school is what its about. I know it sucks but it is PE and not english or math. Keep up the good work and look to the future. Learn to pick your battles. This one is not worth it.

no. I would talk to your parents. If that happened to my kid, I would be all over that teacher like white on rice
