Hi

I have been vegetarian for long time but only recently tried to cook tofu. Since tofu itself is high is fat I don't like to stir fry it in oil. What I have been doing is grilling or baking it. That way I can add the tofu in my allready made soup ( sometimes from freezer ) or just add it in salad. But takes really long time to do that. Maybe if everyone can share their tofu tips esp when used in soups and salads :)

tofu is not high in fat. buy the mori-nu tofu. It is only 1 gram of fat per oz. I can eat a 12.3 oz. box of tofu and have only 11 grams of fat.
fry it in a little extra virgin olive oil with seasonings, soy sauce, veggies, anything you like and you've got a great dish.

in my view conversing, i admire tofu basically undeniable, without cooking it. it is so pleasing that way. in case you prefer a chicken flavour, google KFC secret recipe and use those spices in all probability. Or rub some olive oil, rosemary, lemon and seasalt and black pepper into the tofu, then soak it in one day and then grill it.

If you buy the tofu that is white, it's not fat.
You probably bought the fried tofu, which is fat from the deep-fried oil.
