Many people want to believe in God and have faith in Him, but refuse to come to God on His terms. In order to truly have faith in God you MUST deal with sin. Sin is what blocks faith. Think about it... what in your life is sinful... and what do you need to repent from. To repent from sin, you just change your ATTITUDE about it. You say, "That's enough... I am no longer going to center my life around this sin. I choose to center my life around Jesus."

Also, the Bible says in Romans 10:17 that Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

In other words, to strengthen your faith, you must

1. have understanding of the Word (hearing)
2. physically hear the word (hearing)

...which means you must read the world of God but also hear the word of God being preached. So, we see that the bible makes it clear that Faith comes from reading and hearing the Bible.

Faith is the act of believing in something/one without having any proof. Unless you believe like a little child, it will not be shown to you.

When you ask a four-year old, "Wanna go for ice cream?", they don't skeptically say "When?" They yell, "Yay! We're going for ice cream!"

After all, we're talking about the creator of the universe here. Don't expect Him to prove Himself to you. You humble yourself and then He answers you.

The biblical definition of 'Faith' is .... "Faith is the substance hoped for and the evidence of things unseen".
'Evidence of things unseen' means ...Direct experience'.
Your beliefs + ignorance is why the blockage.
'Keep On Keeping On' one day ....some life you will get there.

Nothing is. You just don't fully believe yet. The more you believe it, the more Faith you will have in Christ.

Well maybe because you don't have an open mind. or because you cant see something you think its not real or want to believe in it. but here a question, can you see the wind? and thats the good thing about free will. you make your own choices. you choose to block it.

You have to believe in God first. I mean truly believe in him. You will feel it in your heart and then your faith will come. You must pray daily to God for guidance and direction. Here are some words to live by:
"If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it".
"Happy moments, praise God.
Difficult moments, seek God.
Quiet moments, worship God.
Painful moments, trust God.
Every moment, thank God.
I put everything in his hands and he takes care of me.

Are you genuinely seeking to have faith in Christ and trust Him? If you are not sincere about it, this could be a barrier.
