There are over 400 denominations throughout the world, all who say that they're serving God in some capacity, but going about it in a variety of methods. Does God recognized any of these? If so, where is it found in the bible?

Paul tells us in the New Testament to "let there not be divisions amongst yourselves in the Church." Sadly, many so called "Christians" do not even read the Word of God, let alone follow its teachings. I do attend a Christian Church, yes, but I do not associate with any particular denomination. For the most part the differences are found in the styles of Worship and how the services and buisness affairs of the Church are run, but the Important thing is do you believe and teach the Bible as the word of God or are you just trying to please everyone and bring up attendance?

All of these Churches have some part of the truth that they teach. Only one is made up of all the things that a true church is supposed to have. Look in the Bible and read of all the things that the Jews had as part of their religious experience.
First of all they had a Prophet, not a pope - a Prophet.
One who was in touch with God and received daily interaction and guidance from God! Only one church on the earth today has that!
They also had a body of assistance that worked under and helped the prophet, The Priests of which there were three levels of power. The High Priests, Priests and the Elders. Next they had Temples and performed Sacred ordinances in them.
At that time it was offering a burnt sacrifice, Now you have to be worthy, by offering a Broken heart and a contrite spirit!
They had a system set up to help the needy and the elderly.
The Prophet and leaders of the church were appointed by God.
They also supported them selves and lived among the people, not tucked away in church cathedral somewhere.
The church members lived by faith and supported each other both in Physical and spiritual support. They paid tithes and offerings - 10% of their income. Or in their case - their first fruits or first lamb ect. They gathered together in small groups to receive more guidance and directions from their church leaders often and also in larger groups on a regular basis.
Finally but most importantly, God was the head of the Church not a mortal man.
There is only one church on the earth today that can claim that distinction!!!

Jesus told Peter that "if they are not against me, then they must be for me". This was when Peter wanted to reject the gentiles that wanted to worship Jesus. I think that there are so many denominations because people take a verse here and a verse there and try to set up their belief system that way instead of taking it as a whole. In the Bible is says we must "work out your own salvation". I think that it is up to each of us individually to serve God in the way that he wants us to. What is right for one person may not be right for another. For example, I don't think it is wrong for me to have an alcoholic drink when I go out to dinner with my husband, but if I were an alcoholic then obviously it would be. My advice is to read the Bible and determine for yourself what is right and try to find a church that best suits your beliefs.

There are so many churches now because satan polluted people minds from the true teachings of the Apostles, God only recognize only one Church & that is his Body of Believers that sees eye to eye Isa. 52:8 & Epheasians 4:11-17 & Acts 2:38-47

There is only one church. The only way into Heaven is through Jesus Christ, and His one church. Ephesians 4:4-6 says:

4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling:
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism
6 one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

To truly call yourself a Christian, you must follow the words of the Bible, without adding or taking away from God's word. (Rev. 22:18-19) Denominations often add their own beliefs, or choose not to follow some found in the Bible, therefore, they are not "serving God."

Don't be sarcastic to my beiefs. :)

The actual word for church does not mean a building or any particular denomination; it refers to the assembly of believers.

I see the denominations of 'Christianity' in the USA as matters of growth presently. Warning; just because a congregation can find the church's name in the scriptures (easily), does not mean it 'fills the bill' as being 'scriptural. (I know from experience about that one).

There is only one church. We still share a common belief in Jesus. God bless and Merry Christmas

Jesus refers to the church as his true followers. They collectively made up the church. I guess you could say different denominations would collectively make up the church today.
