According to wikipedia, there are less than 1300 people in the village so everyone probably knows everyone. If they're Catholic, you should try getting ahold of the local priest: Very Rev Colm McBride, PP,

46 Blackstaff Road, Ballycranbeg, Kircubbin, Newtownards, Co Down,

BT22 1AG. Tel: 4273 8294.

If they are Protestant you could try to google protestant churches in Kircubbin, Co. Down for contact information. Not sure how to look these up!

Another way to track them down is to google pubs in Kircubbin. Call the pub, tell them you're calling from (the States??) and that you're looking to get in touch with your relations in Kircubbin and could they please help you. I'd bet my next meal, there is probably someone in one of the pubs who knows your family!! Or you might get lucky and ring their local! :)

Try ancestry.com. They will want you to join and pay, but you can also get free info. The old churches in Ireland kept all the birth, death, marriage, and baptismal records. See if you can locate the name of an old church.
