to get drunk as possible as my mother in law is coming AGAIN and try and offend her as much as possible so she wont come back next year

My parents will host. We will wake up really early in the morning and all my nieces and nephews will get ready to open all the presents. The family sits around the tree and Dad hands out the gifts and reads names off (he will wear a Santa hat, does it every year). After this, my mother, myself, and my sisterw ill start cooking. This process lasts almost entirely ALL day. The men watch TV and snack/try the food, the kids run around rampant, and the girls all gossip. Then guests come over and we have a beautiful Christmas feast a la Thanksgiving. It is such a great day to spend with the family! :) MERRY CHRISTMAS!

In the house on my own with the dog as iv just moved back to my parents after a split from my ex and now iv been dumped by my new girl (merry christmas)

I intend to eat, drink and be very merry! We've (my boyfriend and I) have decided to avoid all the headaches, and stress that come with going to either of our parents houses, so we just plan to have a really nice chilled out day by ourselves... I can't wait!

My husband and I are making Christmas dinner for my family.After dinner we will open gifts and I will hold my breath until the Grandkids open theirs and say something in excitement ( I Hope)

myself, and my 3 beautiful children are going to enjoy being together as a family. one gift for each person and one gift for the family.
my "significant other" and his family will probably come over later in the day.
we're going to watch movies, play games, and of course eat a fabulous turkey dinner!
the night will end with toasting marshmallows in the fireplace!

I'm cooking for me and my mum this year, so I'll be panicking about that until chow time. Then I'm off 'round to my mate's for a nice, sensible sherry or two.

Just me and my son most of the day, my ex will stay for lunch. But Boxing day...visiting all my family, can't wait.
