It could be caused by hypertension (high blood pressure). My great aunt had never had a nose bleed, but one day her nose started bleeding. She went to the doctor and he told her that her blood pressure was so high that she had burst the blood vessels in her sinuses. He said if her nose hadn't started bleeding she would have probably had a stroke.

You seriously need to check your blood pressure immediately. Go to your doctor as soon as possible, but you can probably get a reading at a local drug store. Your blood pressure should not be much over 120 / 80
Hypertension (high blood pressure) can do a lot of damage if left untreated, so it is essential that you rule that cause of nosebleeds out.
Other than that, you could have a 'bleeder' that dries out and splits, causing the nosebleed. They can be cauterized chemically or with a laser.

It may be caused by the dry air. Be sure to use a humidifier in your house/apartment and use vaseline to your nasal passages often. If this does not help then you need to see the doc as frequent nose bleeds can be a sign of something more serious.

You may need to check your blood pressure. The blood vessels in the nose are very sensitive & if you a difference in your blood pressure it may cause bleeding from you nose. See your doc to rule out anything serious.

you may have a serious sinus infection that needs to be seen about before it gets worse. I have also heard that people get nose bleeds for stress related problems, but either way it is not good so go see a doctor ok. Merry Christmas!

When's the last time your blood pressure was checked? You definately need to get to your doctor, to get it checked, and have bloodwork done.
Good luck.
