If you substitute oil for butter, it will change the consistency. Expect the cookies to spread quite a bit more. Try putting a tablespoon full in a greased muffin tin. Muffins are generally made with oil or melted butter, so if these don't turn out well as cookies (which they might and then would be perfectly round), you can offer them as muffins or individual coffee cakes.

No. The butter & sugar whip together to leaven the dough. Rather than ruining these cookies, find another recipe that calls for oil instead of butter, or resolve to do extra sit-ups tomorrow to burn-off that butter.

No, oil will make the cookies very greasy. Go for the butter -- it's Christmas! They will taste lovely and everyone will enjoy them. Have fun!

Well some healthy food that tastes good in my opinion would have to be: Fish. It's really good for you and it takes quite nice. Tomatoes, Onions, Broccoli etc mainly all vegetables are good for you. Same applies to fruits exp: Apples, Bananas, Blueberries, Cantaloupe, and Watermelon etc. Water is also a good way to stay fit, water can easily replace all the soda. Poultry & Lean Meats in moderate portions is also good. Oatmeal is also fine. Hope it helps good luck! =D
