That depends on where you live. If you live someplace where the cost of living is very high (like anywhere in California or in/near major cities) that annual salary won't go very far. But if you live in the suburbs or in/near big cities that aren't in the Top 25 in the U.S. in terms of population, you can do pretty well on that salary. To give you an idea, my annual salary is darned close to $59,556.00 and I live outside Detroit, which has a VERY high cost of living (Oakland County is the sixth most expensive county in the U.S. in terms of cost of living), and my salary gets me a 1,500 square foot ranch on a small lot in the suburbs and pays the rest of my bills with some left over for investing and for spending. I own one car and am paying for another, so if I had to buy another car money would be REALLY tight. My wife has been out of work for over a year because the economy here is basically in the toilet (thanks a heap Governor Granholm), but we're hoping she'll be able to find a job after the new year so we can pay off her car and do some remodeling. Does that give you a better idea of how it works?

Better than average; pretty good for a new college grad. You'll need to marry someone with an approximately equal salary in order to buy a house, though.

It depend on your cost of living. Do you pay state or city income tax. Are you in an area where heating cost are higher. How much do you have to pay for health insurance or is it paid for by your employer. There are a lot of factors you have to consider.

Depends on the cost of living where you live, you're spending habits and your bills.

Generally speaking though, it is a good salary. You could do a lot with that if budgeted correctly!

Depends on your age and lifestyle..........

I am 26 and make 50K which is fine for now. I know that in order to get a nice house and my BMW Z4 I am going to have to make more, which I will though hard work.

Well, that's about 6 times what I make, so yeah. In fact, that's almost a salary. IMO, a salary is close to $100,000 annual. So, you're more than halfway to becoming an aristocrat!

We make about that, and survive nicely. Although its hard to get ahead and prosper.

It depends on where you live, and your personal cost of living.

For us its more than enough. Just not enough for what we want.
