Oh it's still alive and well, and bilious as ever. Any instant coffee is freeze dried, even though the label probably doesn't say that anymore since it sounds rather unappetizing. Do you need this because you are taking it on a camping trip or something? Otherwise, you may just want to go ahead and brew some lovely fresh coffee. Life is too short to drink instant.

It's still out there, but I haven't actually seen anyone want to drink it in years. Most people have started to appreciate good coffee and once you start drinking the real stuff (my personal favorite is French Roase Sumatrian), it's impossible to swallow that muck ever again.

It's called Folgers Crystals. And it's in a plastic jar near the other coffee products.

Nescafe is the biggest brand name of freeze-dried coffee..
ask your local supermarket..they'll have it

most instant coffee is manufactured by the freeze dried method, they no longer write it cous it is standard, use your favorite it is the one you are looking for.

I have seen it in grocery stores, but haven't looked in a while so things could have changed. I guess if you really must find some just call a few stores in your area and ask if they have any.
