For the last two nights, when I go to either check on or wake up my 20 month old daughter, her sleep pants and diaper are off (dry as can be) and she is soaked in urine along with her sheets, lovely..all of it.

Any suggestions on how to prevent this?

*As soon as the weather turns cold again, she'll be in button or zipper pjs and it won't be a problem. But...until then????

He cant get them undone and his diaper maintains to be prepare! we've been doing that for a pair months now and he doesnt even attempt doing it anymore! I nonetheless placed it on there however just to be on the secure section haha... had way too many mornings the place he had poop throughout his mattress to possibility that back! lol

We had the same problem with out son this summer. We switched to pull-up overnight diapers (they're a little big, but they hold more), then a onesie that snaps at the crotch, then one-piece pajamas that button at the leg and he can't unzip. Now that it's winter, he can actually unzip the sleepers (argh!), so we put a t-shirt over the sleeper, and he won't grap the zipper and take it all over. This is the only way to keep the socks on too!!!

Start a nightly routine.
First, before she goes to bed, take her to the bathroom and let her use the toilet.
Then when you go to bed, get her up and take her to the toilet.
When you get up in the middle of the night, take her to the toilet.
First thing in the morning when you get up, take her to the toilet.

Soon, you can start letting her go before and after every meal/ and or snack time too...
She will be potty trained in no time!
Congratulations Mommy :-)

I have to add something here, I notice how everyone is trying to help you keep the little girl in pampers, which in all respects is what you asked...but your baby is now a toddler, and if she doesn't want to wear a pamper any more, then work with it! Teach her how to sleep without it. My youngest son did not like to wear pampers either, and so I let him use the toilet. He was the first of 8 kids who ended up potty trained before 2 years old!

I tried to make the others keep their pampers on too, and then they did not want to use the toilet! What a nightmare that was! Three year olds running around in pampers-take it from experience-YUCK!

All kids go threw this stage. I know mine did. Just go ahead and put the zipper ones on her, but just get her the thin ones. Don't put any covers on her or anything. She will be fine. In a few months she hopefully will lose the fasination with taking off her diaper because she can.

Duct tape could work, but before you go to that try putting her diaper on backwards. It sounds werid, but it worked on my 2 year old. He can't figure out how to get it off, at least not yet!

put pjs on and put an onsie on underneath them. also go in once an hour to check on her before you go to bed. make sure she is still diapered all else fails put the diaper on backwards or duct tape it on

my son did the same thing, he gets really hot and sweats if i put pjs on him at night. so i put pull ups on him with a pair of shorts that fit him really good but not to tight, or try a pair of panties over top of them.
