The condition is you have to succeed the examination conducted by Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia to work as registered nurse in government hospitals.

I hope your current credentials issued by Nigerian authorities would be a distinct advantage while applying for the test as well as job in SA.

Good luck.

I have lived in Saudi Arabia before. Now, while you will be able to work there as a single woman, you will face a few problems. You won't be able to drive (unless the law changes). For this reason you'll find yourself in a car with strange men (drivers) and you really don't know what kind of men they'll be. It's not easy to get around if you don't have a mahram but if you don't have a real problem with this I'd say go for it. The people there are very welcoming, if you're from America or Britain. They get really exited when they discover that you're not only Western but a Western Muslim :P. However, I agree that you might want to try one of the other Middle Eastern countries.

I am a Saudi physician
you should contact the Saudi Council For Health Specialties www.scfhs.info, and your accreditation will depend on the qualifications you hold, wether it is a diploma or bachelor degree or others, then there is an exam which you should pass to be recognised as a nurse in Saudi Arabia, I think the best thing you should do is to contact them whether by mail or telephone
this link should give you a clue
