If you are still sick, the best course of action would be to see a doctor to be sure that you aren't developing a more serious illness. Please schedule an appointment. In the meantime, rest and drink plenty of fluids (chicken soup really does help!). Any fluids will do but avoid cream based. A specific tea is not necessary! Fluids will break up the mucus of the cold and ease any congestion you might have. Since your major complaint is coughing, your illness is obviously affecting your bronchial tubes or your throat/nasal passages. It would be best to see a doctor to be sure that you have not developed bronchitis or are headed toward pneumonia. BTW, if it is bronchitis, the doctor may prescribe tessalon pearls. These are very tiny, soft yellow, gel pills for coughing. They are tiny, tasteless and slide right down...best of all, they really help the coughing!
