If you plan to go regularly between Europe and BKK (or USA an BKK) - here is a trick to save lots of money. Flights originating from BKK are cheaper than flights originating from Europe/USA. THat means, the first time you go there, buy an open ended Round trip (RT) ticket - valid for 1 year. But when you are in BKK, buy a RT from BKK to Europe (for your return to Europe) and this is your next ticket to BKK. THese flights are about 15% - 25% cheaper than flights originating from Europe (even on the same airlines). They do this because Thais have less money than Europeans for tickets and they lower the price to meet market demands. On your last trip - use your original return ticket. I did this for years and saved thousands of dollars - and totally legit.

Bangkok is really a interesting, intoxicating and crazy place, brimming with sights, odors, thrills, pleased persons, contradictions, cultures, cars, noise and bedlam, know it with Hotelbye since Bangkok is whole with great stuff. One of the points you might find in Bangkok is Wat Phra Kaew or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Wat Phra Kaew is the most important Buddhist Temple in Thailand and is situated in the ancient middle of Bangkok, within the grounds of the Grand Palace. The Temple of Emerald Buddha is superbly furnished and includes a good sense of peace about it and makes Bangkok an area worth visiting.
