Behind just a bit on property taxes, can't afford Christmas by any means. Both me and my husband work full time but had a hard go of it this year. I am also taking care of his mom who is suffering from alzeihmers, borrowed by daughter money for legal fees due to a bad custody battle with her ex. I know they say that God only gives you what you can handle... I don't think I can handle anymore. Help from anyone???

Take a step back from everything. Think about the good things in life going on, yes there are some I am sure. What do you really need to afford for this christmas? Don't get caught up in what you want, what do you need? Alzeihmers is hard to deal with, would a nursing home be able to give her better care?
Now, and most importantly, think of youself. Allow yourself some time, alone or with your husband, to do something fun. Take a walk, see a movie, go to dinner, have a picnic. Whatever. Take time for yourself and what you want to do. I understand that you have responsibilities, and you must deal with them, but don't forget that this is your life also, and that you need some time to enjoy it. Depending on your religon, this may be the only chance you have.

Good luck.

You are seriously not going to believe this! Your story is mine exactly! Everything! And I am not joking....I could have written that.....The only thing I am doing is trusting God not to hand me anymore. And not losing faith. That is where you'll get into truoble. And I just try to get by day by day. If that gets to be too much, then I go hour by hour. Serioulsy. And at the end of the day I think.....Well, I had a roof over my head today. And I had food to eat today. And my kids had food and shelter today. And I'm pretty thankful for that. But I am still stressed to the max. But thinking like that seems to make me feel alittle better. I hope things turn for the better for you. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Hang on, you can't give up. I don't know what to tell you since I'm not an adult yet so I wouldn't exactly know how you feel but I've been through MANY MANY MANY hard times like that where it got to the point that suicide was the only answer to my problems but that's not true. Not saying that you're going to kill yourself but it seems like you're going crazy. I know how that feels and I'm very sure that in the end, it will be ok.

Good luck
